Mall of America to Host Blood Drives!

There is an URGENT need for blood across the state of Minnesota. Normally there would be community blood drives happening daily across the state. These blood drives are not happening because of the COVID19 outbreak. I made an appointment last weekend and donated at the St. Paul American Red Cross on Robert St. in St. Paul. It's a quick and safe process and to keep the crowds down, you should schedule an appointment to donate blood.

To help with the shortage, the Mall of America will be hosting a pair of blood drives in April.  The first will be next week, Tuesday April 7th and Wednesday April 8th inside the North Atrium at the Mall of America.

The North Atrium will be open to donors from 10 am to 4 pm both days. The same process during the second blood drive April 17 & 18.

Donors will arrive at the North Atrium and go thru a wellness check before they're allowed to donate. When I donated on Saturday they took my temperature immediately when I walked in the door. They asked questions and again took my temperature before I started the blood donation. Expect the same at the Mall of America and please, if you are healthy consider donating blood.
