The Minnesota Vikings are moving the annual Miller Lite Vikings Draft Party to the Minneapolis Convention Center for the first time after hosting the event at Mall of America Field the previous two years.
The popular event for Vikings fans will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, and will continue through the conclusion of the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. General admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Vikings.com beginning today at 10:00 a.m. (Season Ticket Members will receive one free ticket for every season ticket – limit 4 per account – while supplies last).
Festivities for the party include NFL Network coverage of the first round, a live broadcast by Vikings play-by-play voice and KFAN radio personality Paul Allen and color man Pete Bercich, interactive games and more. Select current and former players will also be on-site to sign autographs at the Vikings Children’s Fund Autograph Zone.
